It is one of the most important apicultural plants, as it helps the bees to grow again after winter. A flower honey of great taste and nutritional value, very rich in vitamins. Its harvested between April and May, depending on the winter. Its pollen is very tasty also, considered as one of the most nutritious. Its crystallized soon after its collection.

OURANOS NIKOS

EBION honey and pollen, are products of organic agriculture. They are collected by certified organic beekeepers (DIO) far from intensive cultivations, in the mountains of Arta (Greece). We are activated on the organic beekeeping since 2005, when we emigrated from Athens; Eugenia Xanthopoulou (archaeologist now beekeeper), and Nickos Ouranos (finanacial consultant now beekeeper), both now new farmers in Ano Kalentini of Arta.
