The most famous traditional Greek cheese. An important part of the Greek diet and is associated with the history and traditions. Made from sheep''''s milk or mixtures with goat. Slightly salty and slightly sour flavor and natural white color. It can be called "organic product" because it is produced from milk from animals fed free grazing, where there used insecticides, herbicides or other contaminants. It is consumed as table cheese and fried and used in salad and cheese pies.
